Admission Procedure

Candidates are advised to follow the rules of admission to the First Year Degree in Pharmacy and rules for Direct Admission to Second year of Degree course in Pharmacy as published by the Director of Technical Education M.S.(DTE-MS) from time to time.

First Year (B. Pharm) Admissions:

  • The information given herein is applicable for admission to all government, University departments, Government-Aided and Un-Aided Pharmacy colleges in the Maharashtra State offering Pharmacy degree course.

  • The competent authority so designated by the State Government shall be the sole authority calling for applications and effecting admissions.

  • All the candidates are advised to submit their applications to the Admission Authorities notified by the Government of Maharashtra on or before the last date declared by the competent authority.

  • Admission Authority for 5% of intake for NRI, against NRI quota in College of Pharmacy.

  • Foreign Students may also apply on prior consultation with the Principal/ University of Pune

  • Second Year (B Pharm) Admissions:

  • A candidate of Indian nationality passing the Diploma in Pharmacy Examination of Board of Technical Examinations, Maharashtra state, Mumbai, securing at least 60% marks.

  • In case of Un-Aided college a quota of five (05) percent seats of sanctioned intake capacity shall be allotted for the children of Non-Residential Indians. All these seats shall be in the payment seat category. he candidates who are eligible as per the rules and are desirous of seeking admission against these seats shall apply directly to the Principal / Management of the concerned Unaided college, in the application form prescribed by the college, individually on or before the last date prescribed by the competent Authority. The NRI candidates shall produce following certificates to the principal of the college in which they seek admission.

  • Certificate of having passed the qualifying or equivalent examination. The eligibility certificate from the respective University / Board. Certificate issued by the Indian Diplomatic Mission or Chancellory or Commission abroad under their Seal stating that the father / parent of the applicant is an Indian Resident in the country.

  • However, if the N.R.I. candidates are not available then these seats may be filled by the college authorities

  •  Student Intake
